Tina Parr is the Director of Bands at Reynolds Middle School. Prior to joining the Reynolds Band, Mrs. Parr was one of the Prosper High School Mighty Eagle Band directors. Mrs. Parr is so happy to be at Reynolds and to continue the Eagle Pride of Excellence at Reynolds! Her passion is music and the joy it can bring to everyone!

Mrs. Parr received her Bachelor of Music Education from Lamar University. Her primary instruments are clarinet and saxophone. While studying at Lamar, Pass was in the Wind Ensemble on clarinet, lead tenor saxophone in the top Jazz Band, and Color Guard Captain for the Marching Band. This will be Mrs. Parr's 30th year of teaching and before she came to Prosper, she taught in Beaumont, Burleson, Denton, and Frisco ISD.

Her husband Gerald Parr is an Assistant Principal at Prosper High School and she has three sons, Zach, Gatlin, and Lawson. Zach graduated from the University of Sam Houston with a Finance degree and is now on the PGA Tour. Gatlin graduated from Prosper High School and now lives in Fort Worth with his wife Kaylee and their new baby girl, Ellison. Lawson attends Prosper High School and is on the basketball team.

Clayton Koch is an Assistant Band Director at Reynolds Middle School. This is Mr. Koch's third year at Reynolds. Mr. Koch received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech University where he studied with Professor Amy Anderson, Dr. Sarah McKoin, and Dr. Jacqueline Henninger.


While at Texas Tech, Mr. Koch played oboe in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and the University Symphony Orchestra, as well as saxophone in the Goin' Band from Raiderland and guitar in the University Jazz Ensemble. His tenure in the University Symphony Orchestra included performing at the TMEA Clinic and Convention in 2015 and at the Lincoln Center in New York. While in Lubbock, Mr. Koch was also an active private lesson instructor, teaching oboe private lessons and master classes in Frenship ISD. Most recently, Mr. Koch student taught within the Austin area in Leander ISD at Stiles Middle School and Glenn High School.

Mr. Koch is a native of Leander, having graduated from Leander High School. His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association Kappa Kappa Psi, and Mu Phi Epsilon.

Richard Alvarado is in his first year as an Assistant Band Director at Reynolds Middle School. Mr. Alvarado is a native of Mansfield, Texas where he graduated from Lake Ridge High School. Most recently, Mr. Alvarado completed his student teaching at Keller High School and Keller Middle School.


Mr. Alvarado graduated with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. At TCU, he studied with Bobby Francis, Brian Youngblood, Matt Garrett, Richard Murrow, and Dr. Laura Singletary. During his time at TCU, Mr. Alvarado served as principal tuba in the TCU Wind Symphony and TCU Symphony Orchestra and Drum Major of the Pride of TCU Marching Band. Mr. Alvarado was also a member of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps for three seasons. While in Fort Worth, Mr. Alvarado taught as a private instructor, masterclass teacher, visual instructor, and long-term substitute in numerous districts within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex including Keller ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Mansfield ISD, and Aledo ISD.

Mr. Alvarado's professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, the International Tuba-Euphonium Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Service Fraternity. Outside of teaching, Mr. Alvarado loves traveling, biking, reading, and spending time with family. Mr. Alvarado currently resides in Mansfield, Texas.

Kevin Hanrahan is the Percussion Specialist at Reynolds Middle School. Mr. Hanrahan is an active percussion educator and performer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music (Chicago, Illinois), and a Master's Degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, Tennessee).

Currently, Mr. Hanrahan teaches percussion at Reynolds Middle School and Prosper High School as well as private lessons at Memorial High School and Rogers Middle School. Previously, Mr. Hanrahan taught in Frisco ISD, in addition to Eastern Tennessee and throughout the Chicagoland area.

Mr. Hanrahan spent several years both as a member and an educator in DCI and WGI, notably with the Phantom Regiment (Rockford, Illinois), Santa Clara Vanguard (Santa Clara, California), NorthCoast Academy (Saginaw, Michigan), and Vigilantes Indoor Percussion (Fort Worth, Texas). He has aided in capturing multiple Fred Sanford High Percussion Awards and several WGI gold medals.

In his free time, Mr. Hanrahan performs with the FC Dallas Drumline, as well as operate his chamber ensemble, Odd River.
