Floot Fire (Day Camp)

Recommended for incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Flute Players.

Camp Tuition: $350

Registration Deadline: April 30, 2017 (May 1-15, add $25 late fee, May 16-June 5, add $50 late fee)

Floot Fire summer workshops are a life changing experience for students who love the flute! We offer a one of a kind opportunity for students to work with world class faculty and perform with like-minded students who are dedicated and driven to be the best. Floot Fire hosts more than 400 young flutists each year in our intensive 3 and 5 day workshops across the country

TCU Summer Flute Workshop (Overnight or Day Camp)

Recommended for incoming 8th and 9th grade Flute Players.

June 28-29, 2017

Location: TCU Campus

Camp Tuition: Commuter- $110, which includes daily lunch. Resident- $180, which includes all meals and on campus housing

This two-day workshop will include group master class and performance sessions, chamber music opportunities, discussions of flute solo music, piccolo practice techniques, and end with a group recital.

Lone Star Clarinet Camp (Day Camp)

Recommended for all incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Clarinet and Bass Clarinet Players.

June 19-23, 2017

Location: Coppell High School (185 W Parkway Blvd, Coppell, Texas 75019)

Camp Tuition: $125, which includes camp t-shirt and snack

By attending Lone Star Clarinet Camp, young clarinetists fill one week of their summer with many hours of playing their instrument. In addition to strengthening their chops, they develop a greater understanding of the clarinet, hear a live professional performance, create a lasting memory by performing in a clarinet choir, and leave inspired to continue playing. The ability to play a musical instrument is a lifetime skill, and we are helping young clarinetists develop that skill so they can enjoy it forever.

Clarinet Pro Workshops (Day Camp)

Recommended for all incoming 7th and 8th grade Clarinet and Bass Clarinet Players.

June 5-7, Keller

June 13-15, Frisco

Camp Tuition: $155

Each student will have an opportunity to work with collegiate professors of clarinet and Pro Workshop Director Julie Linder and receive extra help from our wonderful interns. We talk about clarinet-specific problems, work on clarinet choir music, and prep for the All-Region audition process. Our work culminates in a Workshop recital for parents on our last day!

Clearly Clarinet Camp (Day Camp)

Recommended for all incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Saxophone Players.

Camp Tuition: $275, which includes daily lunch.

Registration Deadline: May 30, 2016 (after May 30, tuition is $300.00)

The Young Saxophonist’s Institute is an organization which provides an educationally enriching and fun summer camp experience for middle and high school saxophone students. During the week, students will participate in chamber ensembles, saxophone choirs and participate in masterclasses, which cover topics like tone, technique, saxophone history and region audition preparation.
